Kristina Lukawska is a licensed psychotherapist, author, educator and mindfulness coach who has been working with people for over 25 years.

Kristina is devoted to supporting children, parents and families in balancing the emotional demands of life by cultivating mindful awareness. She believes that mindfulness practice brings us back into alignment with who we are and helps us build a strong connection with ourselves. This connection determines the depth of the relationships we have with our children and our partners.

Kristina has practiced mindfulness for almost 30 years and received mindfulness based stress reduction professional training under the direction of Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D., founding director, and Saki Santorelli, Ed.D., executive director of Center for Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts Medical School. She also has been trained in the Mindful Schools Curriculum K-12. She holds a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Warsaw, Poland.

In 2011, Kristina published her first book „Happy Parents-Happy Children. A Practical Guide for Parents’, an everyday handbook helping parents to find balance and nurture mindful awareness while raising children in the digital age.

Kristina also developed the ‚Mindful Parenthood’ program, which teaches modern moms living in a world full of relentless demands, responsibilities and pressure to be mindful, to be gentle and to connect with herself first. It also gives moms the tools they need to raise children who are able to experience meaning, connection and fulfillment in life.

Kristina lives in Chicago, Illinois. She has a loving husband who fully supports her journey, and two beloved children who are her greatest teachers.
